Oh and I couldent help but see you want to be an English teacher in Japan?- I have been there many times, if your interested, you can look into Aprentice schoolteacher, type thing, because a shool teacher , you have to be fluent in the Japanese, and a class teacher helper lady, you dont have to be, I lrearnd that, and it pays good i think, good to make a liveing on your own, I will go again next year, and do it again for a cuple months, I hope you'll havea blast going there and teaching when you do!-Midori

I will DEFONETLY See that movie and read that book LoL!- I think you may be interested in either (I forget the name but it might be one of these) -Lifestyle of a Geisha: or Secrits of a Giesha- I saw it acctually at a Movie store in the mall , It was an Exspencive buy though so look for it to rent if you can thanks for the info!-Midori

Oh, Yes, I have Read "Memories of a Geisha:- Its really a good boook and you learn a lot about the japanese insight on the Geisha lifestye and some of the ways (the japanese in gernaeral as well- I hope you have a good day, and I appritiate you looking threw my gallary as you did, I looked threw yours and it is, yes, very nice ^^ thank you again-Midori

another book like Memoirs of a Geisha is 'Geisha of Gion'. it is similar, but does not use the prostitution side of being a geisha and also, the main character is rich and royalty.
you may want to try the film'geisha house' too- i watched it last night and it was so good. i cried andlaughed all through it!!
